Anti malware software should be installed along with a good anti virus for more complete protection.

Malwarebytes (Free and Paid versions)
Malwarebytes is free to use but it must be purchased to activate realtime protection. The paid version is recommended and inexpensive.

    Anti Rootkit


Hopefully you never need these.

TDSSKiller made by Kaspersky Labs
If malware seems to keep coming back on your computer, then you can download and run the EXE version of TDSSKiller to check if you have a rootkit that may be reinfecting your system.

Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit BETA

Combofix made by sUBs (For Advanced users)
Combofix is useful for removing malware and rootkits as well as restoring your system settings after an infection.
